SELLERS' TIPS
1.
Contact your local professional Real Estate agent for
their marketing strategy to get your home sold as
quickly as possible for the best possible price. Your
agent should be able to prepare a free Comparative
Market Analysis for your home and price it according to
the demanding market.
2. Your
largest number of showings will usually occur in the
first two to three weeks. The (Multiple Listing Service)
systems and the Internet tend to drive the majority of
showings. Most buyers are plugged in electronically, so
the minute something new pops up that meets their
criteria, they want to see it. Take advantage of this by
having your home priced competitively from the
beginning.
3.”CLEAR
THE CLUTTER” Make sure the kitchen and bathroom
countertops are cleaned and not cluttered with too many
appliances and knick knacks. You don’t need to remove
everything, but you still want to make your home feel
“Lived In” and inviting.
4. Curb
appeal! Make sure the first impression is a lasting one.
Maintain the lawn, landscaping and a clean exterior. A
fresh coat of exterior paint can go a long way for
instant curb appeal.
5. Get the
home move-in ready. The biggest bang for your buck is
fresh paint and new carpet. The smell of new carpet and
fresh paint is great for luring buyers! Make your home
as turnkey as possible.
